Delete your data
What Zabihah AI keeps, where it is kept, and how to delete each part. There is no account to close.
App: Zabihah AI | Scan Halal Food · Developer: The Apptor
On your phone
Your scan history (product names, results and the label photos you took) is stored only on your device. We never receive it, so only you can delete it:
- In the app, open Settings and tap Delete my data to remove all of it, or
- delete a single scan from your history, or
- delete the app, which removes everything it stored on your phone.
With us
We keep only two kinds of data on our servers (Cloudflare, run by The Apptor):
- Feedback on results. If you answered Was this result correct?, we keep that result (product name, ingredient list and verdict, never a photo) and any comment you typed, for up to 12 months. It is not linked to you, so tell us the product, roughly when you sent it and any comment you wrote, and we will find and delete it.
- Support messages. Your email address, name if given, message and any app details you included. Ask from the same email address you wrote from.
To ask for deletion, use the support form with the topic Other, or email [email protected]. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Things we do not keep
- Label photos. Photos sent for reading are not stored or logged by us. Google may keep them for a limited period for abuse monitoring under the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service. To stop sending photos, turn off sharing photos with AI in the app's Settings.
- Your scans. Our server keeps no record of what you scan.
Usage analytics and crash reports
These are collected by Google Firebase with a random app instance ID, not your name or email. Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months, and crash reports under Google's Crashlytics retention settings. Deleting the app stops collection.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple. Your purchase status is kept by RevenueCat under an anonymous ID for as long as it is needed to provide your subscription and to meet tax and accounting rules. To cancel a subscription, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone.
